Blue Wooldridge Participates in Two Events
Blue Wooldridge, D.P.A., professor of public administration, convened a meeting on May 13 of the Standing Panel of Social Equity, which he chairs, at the National Academy of Public Administration on the topic, "Promoting Society Equity Using Evidence-Based Practices." The two key speakers were Jon Baron, vice president of Evidence Based Policy, the Arnold Foundation, and Kerry Anne McGeary, Senior Program Office, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
On May 16, he made a presentation in Quebec at the annual conference of the Canadian Association of Program in Public Administration on the topic, "A Big Issue for Public Management Education: How to Use the M.P.A. Curriculum to Combat Social Inequities." He described how he integrates concepts of social equity into the M.P.A. core courses he teaches.
